Life is full of surprises!

Greetings to my faithful blog readers!

So, Sunday night I had the opportunity to volunteer at the Casting Crowns Concert at a World Vision booth. I got the amazing opportunity to go onto the floor about 7 rows from the stage - that was stinking awesome! I also ran into a former co-worker and made a business connection with one of her friends. He knows the marketing director at the Ice Forum and is going to give him my contact info so that I might get the hook-up with some side interpreting jobs - or maybe even a full-time job. Who knows?!

Be praying for my middle school girls. We have been talking a lot about heaven and how to be saved. I have several that I think are almost there, so pray for their salvation! It is also looking like my Pawley's Island team might end up being an all girl trip - how fun is that?!

Work has gotten better for me. Which is a huge praise report!

Been challenged with something I am not going to post for everyone in the world to know. But it's funny how I have been following one of those read through the Bible in a year plans, and right now I am in Leviticus. I love you, Jesus, but that book can get boring! But one thing God has been teaching me in the midst of all the details and numbers is that God cares about all the LITTLE details! If He cares about clothes and the tabernacle like that, how much more does He have to care about each of the details of our lives?! He knows how He is going to work in this situation. I just have to trust Him.

Also had the opportunity to have a relaxing weekend with the girls. Hayley is getting married in less than 2 weeks, so our life group gave her a bachlorette party - it was small, just 5 of us, but it was perfect. We gave ourselves pedicures (yay for french ones!) and ate pizza and ice cream sundaes, and watched chick flicks and just had a good relaxing time hanging out. Good times :o)

Well, till next time!

Peace out,

Joy
